Gregory Moran Psychotherapist BSc
About Gregory Moran
Hello, I’m Gregory Moran, or just Greg if you prefer. My first-hand experience surrounding the healing benefits of therapy has directed me on this vocational path to becoming a psychotherapist. In essence, it has been a journey of overcoming the challenges of suffering, self-acceptance, self-discovery and growth.
I hold a Bachelor of science Honours Degree in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy from PCI college and pre-accredited with the iacp (Membership no. M14017). Integrative simply means my approach is tailored to specifically meet the unique needs of each client. This approach allows for ample flexibility within sessions, facilitating an empowering process towards healing and growth.
I have also recently completed a professional diploma in Expressive Arts Therapy. For those that find it difficult to articulate or verbalise their issue, expressive arts therapy can be particularly helpful. In other words, the creative process can provide access to painful experiences, externalise the struggle into art form, and transform the pain into beauty or words of wisdom.
I have also volunteered as a group facilitator for individuals suffering from loss by suicide. During my time with the group I have gained deep understanding of the emotional challenges one faces with the loss of a loved one. An important attribute to my experience as a group facilitator is, I understand the cornerstones of the healing process.
Currently, I am running a busy practice in Ennis Therapy Centre, Francis st. Ennis, and Ennistymon.
Whether it suits you online, or in-person, the first step for seeking help can be the most challenging.
Your journey to wellness begins here. I look forward to meeting you.
